March is flyin'

Even though March is a long month, it seems to be going as fast as the wind.
Working on my March journal pages, here is my "Peep" (credit card size) for the third week.  I did it from a magazine photo, but it reminds me of a little road in Michigan when we had a place there.

A "Writing Page" using acrylic ink background.  I love this little poem and the lines about the lark on the wing and the snail on the thorn.

I decided to add some "inchies" to my pages; they always add a fun little touch to a piece.  Next week in our Journaling get-together at The Center, I will show the girls the acrylic ink technique and make some "inchies"...

Found this poem among the "Spring" collection in my little poetry book that my Mom gave me on my Confirmation Day in 1955.  It's too bad we don't know who wrote it, but love the language...

and another "inchie" found it's place.

We just had our corned beef and cabbage dinner yesterday and baked Irish Soda Bread.  It sort of looks how I feel - ate too much of it!

And just needed to show you the overnight bag that Danielle sewed all by herself - by hand!
I love the cuff and the bright buttons.
