more lake pictures

Before I'm on to something else, I had to show you some more of my pictures from our walk at the lake.

A beautiful picture-taking day.  Beautiful Lake Michigan.

The sand was so pretty, mixed with the snow.  Wisps of color.

We left our footprints along the way...

as we looked for pretty rocks that weren't frozen to the sand.

2 posts below, Suz. Took a ride on Tuesday to the Indiana Dunes, Beverly Shores. Absolutely beautiful day. it reminded me of the area where we went that time to assemble the books for "Seeding The Snow". Lovely. Julie, Brent, me and a friend of Julie's and Brent's. Oh Suz, I love Port Washington! Rich and I used to go there all the time. Did you eat lunch at North Port Shores right on the lake? Julie's visitor is a resident now, I think. She doesn't know what to do. He won't go into the "safe" trap for peanut butter and he's getting fatter, she says.

Beverly Shores! I have been trying to get Art to buy a house there but he says the ids are moving the other direction....On a clear day Downtown looks like OZ...across the lake

Could use those photos as post cards. Beautiful, but I bet chilly.
How big is the monthly quilt?

Beautiful shots, could be my Oregon coast but it doesn't get snow except in very rare cases.

The quilt top measures about
4-1/2' x 3-1/2'. I still have to sew the batting and backing on, quilt it and put binding on. In the beginning, each quarter of a block measured 8-1/2".
