It's morning.....

a new day at the retreat and Lois' bay leaf garlands with the cinnamon cookie shapes are so pretty in the windows.

On to the art room, as we do scissor cuttings, stamp wrapping paper and cards with the stamps we made last night, and make cardinal gift tags.

Lois is busy creating.

Aren't they pretty? Little works of art.

Julie's stamps are wonderful on the cards and wrapping paper.

Lisa had a unique idea for this "pretty little Miss" stamp, made for a gift for someone special who she has in mind.

Robin put hearts in some of her branches. Sweet!

And here are our scherenschnitte, all done and waiting to go home to be framed.

Time for our walk in the pine forest to search for woodland treasures for our twig frame mirrors and swags that we will make later in the day.

Dried prairie wildflowers and grasses.

Julie and her findings.

Well, hello there! Leftover reminders of the season past.

The beauty of the pond where the egrets, and a heron or two, play in the summer.
