I'm back

Back home from the Folkcrafters' Retreat yesterday afternoon and I have lots of pictures to show you. I will try to get to it, but, first things first, today I am preparing for the "Susan Branch Luncheon" tomorrow! And she emailed me this morning! Susan Branch emailed me! I could be floating, but my legs are too tired to get off the ground.

How exciting for you! Did you invite her?

Yes,
maybe she'll pop in unexpectedly. Wouldn't that make the cake?
Sounds like you're busy having creative fun. How much better can it get than that? Oh a little dusting of snow this morn! Now that's icing on the cake!

Why April..does Pauline know about this?!?!?

Doris - No, she just got back to California from her summer home in Martha's Vineyard. In fact, she missed my first message about the luncheon as she was en route.

Bev - Don't I wish!

Sue - I don't know. She gets the newsletter. But it's only me...not Susan.

Oh...and she did have a six-hour stop-over in Chicago to shop! Robin found out, but we were unable to go that morning.

How cool that she actually e-mailed you!! I knew I liked her!!
Can't wait to hear what she had to say!!! On another note, I had a wonderful time at the retreat April!! I was telling Lisa how "making things" was always such an integral part of Christmas for me and it has slipped away the last few years. The retreat helped me get that feeling back!!
Thank you!!!

Robin - I'm so happy that the retreat fulfilled that spot for you. I think too, that's one of the best times of the Christmas season. And I will have to send you a copy of Susan Branch's email! I'm saving it, of course!

Elena - thanks! it is all exciting!
