The moon

A beautiful full moon last night.

The August full moon is often called theSturgeon Moon in North America. The Sturgeon Moon harks back to the bygone centuries when this large fish roamed plentifully in the Great Lakes and Hudson Bay. The August full moon is also known as the Green Corn Moon or the Grain Moon. www.earthsky.org/skywatching/

Didn't know you were a star gazer, but I did notice the moon as I was getting ready for bed.

I'm really not, but I am entranced with the full moons.

Yes, we were amazed by the moon last night also. Hubby got out the telescope, and it looked awesome up close. We also saw Jupiter and 4 of its moons several nights ago with the telescope. It fills me with awe.
