Friday

Today, it was off to see a movie! Me, Dan, Danielle and Aunt Julie went to see "G-Force". It was adorable! We were laughing so hard with tears in our eyes. A little crying tears too. But you have to have an attachment for hamsters and gerbils and mice. Julie used to have a gerbil named "Spike" and he looked so much like the gerbil in the movie. Those parts were quite touching.

My daughter had a mouse as a pet for like 2 days. She talked her Dad into buying one. They brought it home and put it in a cage. A couple of days later there were a bunch of mice in the cage. I guess they bought a pregnant mouse. So they all went back to the pet store. No more mice.

I might enjoy that movie. Some of my fondest memories are of Rupert and Hammie, our two hamsters. The little critters always made me laugh and used to give me lots of love bites. Love the name Spike for the gerbil. And love a good "feelings" movie. Will check it out.

Hmmmm... Laura gave me offspring of her hamsters and I loved them rolling around in their ball! When they got loose my parents finally decided to put d-con out after many things got chewed without sight of them. But I had the best rat at the pet shop I managed when I was 19. He was a great pal.
